Please note: all custom Scout Books orders require a minimum 14-day turnaround from date of proof approval. We’re happy to provide an accurate project timeline for you once you’re ready to place your order.

Can I order more than 2,000 Scout Books?

Yes, of course! We ask that you please contact us directly if you want to order more than 2,000 Scout Books.

Can I split my order into Multiple Styles?

Yes, but there are some requirements: all artwork must share the same ink color(s), and split styles require a minimum order of 250 pieces per style. For covers with 1 ink color, there is an additional $50 fee per style. For covers with 2 ink colors, there is an additional $100 fee per style. At this time, we are not able to split orders into multiple interior styles.

Do you offer Scout Books in a larger size?

Yes, we also manufacture Scout Books in a super-sized 5” x 7” Mega version. They use the same materials as our original Scout Books, and also have 32 interior pages. All Scout Book Mega orders require a minimum of 1,000 pieces. Shipping costs are not included. Please contact us for a custom quote.

What about accessories?

You can dress your Scout Book up with Rubber Bands (now available in the Bookstore), Scout Cards, and Belly Bands! Costs, minimums, and production timelines vary according to the item. Please contact us for a custom quote.

Scout Cards can be created to accompany any Scout Book order—they are 3.5” x 5” and printed on chipboard with rounded corners.

Belly Bands are designed to wrap around one or three Scout Books. They are delivered flat. Dimensions vary, so please contact us for more information.

Can I use more than two inks on the cover of my Scout Books?

Yes, your Scout Books can have 3 or 4 inks on the cover, and printing on the inside cover too. Pricing varies according to number of ink colors and quantity ordered. We do not offer CMYK printing on Scout Book covers, however, we can print up to four spot colors on a Scout Book cover. Contact us if you have any questions about preparing your files for spot color printing.

You must order a minimum of 250 pieces for any Scout Books order with more than 1 ink color on the cover.

Can I use more than one ink color on the interior pages of my Scout Books?

No Problem! Scout Book Original Books can have 1-ink, 2-ink, 3-ink, or full-color interior pages. Fees vary according to number of ink colors and quantity ordered. Custom interior inks require a minimum order of 1,000 pieces.

Can I use custom ink colors?

We have tested our Standard Scout Book Ink Colors on chipboard to ensure high-quality printing. We can, however, print your Scout Book covers using Pantone Inks* or by creating a Custom Pantone Match**. There is a $35 fee when printing with a Pantone color, and a $70 fee for a Custom Pantone Match. Some restrictions apply, so please contact us for more information.
 

* Pantone inks allow you to select from most colors in the Pantone Solid Uncoated library. Not all colors are suitable to be printed on chipboard, but we’re happy to recommend the colors that will work best.

If you’d like to order a custom Pantone color, we require an ink drawdown which will allow you to preview the color on chipboard. The drawdown is $35 plus shipping, and will add extra time to your project timeline.

** We can create Custom Pantone Match mixes for your project. Using a custom ink mix, we can match colors from the Pantone Solid Uncoated library, but please keep in mind that an exact ink match is not possible on chipboard.

Custom Pantone matches are $70 plus shipping, and include an ink drawdown and a single custom mix. Please contact us if you have any questions.
