Record your ventures in wine tasting with 33 Wines, a snazzy new wine journal from 33 Books.
Each page contains a flavor wheel, color meter and fields to note the vintage, varietal and price of each new wine you taste. The handy inside cover demystifies wine terms like “legs,” “linger,” and “tannin” for the newbie oenophile.
To celebrate the release 33 Wines, we’re giving away a handful of three-packs today! Simply leave a comment on this post. Tell us about a wine you recently enjoyed! We’ll choose the winners at random tomorrow morning.

Hey! It’s well known that spanish wines are a referent in the whole world talking about quality, in fact, yesterday I tasted one of then, it was a Rioja wine. It was incredible tasty!
Just finished a bottle of Storrs Winery 2005 Mann Vineyard. Love this wine since it’s reasonably priced and locally grown in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Lucky to have wonderful local wine here in Santa Cruz.
Simply put, it is the next one. I love to try new wines and often look through the bargains in foreign and low-cost bins. One of my reliable search-fors is French Chardonnay. It is so unlike the heavy American (Californian) version that’s so over-the-top creamy/oakey. Generally-speaking, French Chardonnay is lighter and sparkles with great fruit and can really work well with seafood — almost akin a good Oregon Pinot Gris.
These would be perfect to take along on a trip to Sonoma!
I would love to have these Scout Books!
I picked up a bottle of a Spanish red last week called Sangre de Toro and it was delicioso! Look for the bottle with the tiny plastic bull figurine around its neck.
I enjoyed an awesome WA state Malbec last night that paired wonderfully with the rack of lamb and cherry demi glace I had for dinner!
These notebooks are so cute & perfect for keeping notes while wine tasting.
