Igolu is a series of workshops that deal in communication innovation, vision and goal setting and leadership training. It’s a “choice, an act, and a movement,” according to the organization’s site. Participants are aided in designing their own chosen futures, while supporting others in doing the same.

Igolu recently created Scout Books to function as “mini workshops” for people working on their vision and goals. Melissa Hertz from Igolu explained that the pocket size is perfect for people to carry their goals with them wherever they go. Igolu founder Susanne Conrad notes that the passport size of the books is appropriate: while a passport shows where you’ve been, the Igolu Scout Books show you a path to your future.

Conrad hands the books out at leadership workshops, and also uses them as gifts for attendees when she gives keynote speeches. She will speak at Wanderlust Whistler this August, a festival for yoga practitioners and others practicing mindfulness.

We all know it’s a good idea to keep your notes with you in your pocket. But Igolu shows us that it’s an even better idea to keep your goals with you, too.
