OMG Friends is a SUPER CUTE Portland-based company started by Ryan Weisgerber. Their product line includes felt animals, (aka “friends”), that include a tiny owl, a pocket-sized rabbit, and a little pink pig. There are “all sorts of other awesome things” set to roll out in the coming months, according to Weisgerber.
They recently added another pocket-sized product to their selection, pocket journals for notetaking. You guessed it, they’re Scout Books! Originally created as a promotional item, the notebooks became so popular that Weisgerber ordered a second run to offer them as retail items.
The book features a pattern made of little OMG Friends, and the back cover invites you to record your name under text that reads, “This fantastic chapter of history belongs to…” Weisgerber hopes for people to use them for doodling, taking notes, and document a chapter of their life.
OMG Friends also created a series of postcards printed with Print Pinball, with bright, colored photographs on one side and chipboard on the other side, matching up nicely with the chipboard Scout Books.
