Rob Tyler makes things move.
Based in Portland, Oregon, Tyler is a filmmaker and artist working in documentary and experimental realms. He’s done commercial work for Nike, OPB, the Northwest Film Center, and has a myriad of creative art-based short films and music videos under his belt.

His videos are like poems, captures of a small moment.
Tyler commissioned local designer Mathew Foster to create the design for a pocket-sized piece of self-promotion for his company, VCR 100. “I wanted to have some personalized Scout Books to jot down technical notes from various photo and video shoots,” Tyler explained. “I tend to forget things fairly fast and it’s nice to have a physical record to look back upon.”

Referred to by Tyler as “shameless self promotion,” these VCR 100 books also make their way into the hands of clients and friends.
